Specialty Underwriting

Riverport’s Specialty Underwriting unit collaborates with its affiliate, Berkley Risk Administrators Company, LLC (BRAC), to provide insurance and risk management solutions to a wide range of customers, including, for example: self insured groups; larger single entities; and association-sponsored programs. These customers include a number of specific public entity self-insurance programs, domestic and off-shore captives, federal risk retention groups (including purchasing groups), and other alternative forms of customer-capitalized risk pooling structures. Some of these BRAC customers use Riverport as their insurance carrier, but many do not.
